SurfEars are a revolutionary ear product designed by a team of Swedish professional designers and dedicated surfers. We all know, (or we should), that unprotected ears take a constant battering when exposed to wind, water, sand and the cold. After prolonged exposure, the ear creates it's own defence, which is actually a bony growth inside of your ear canal, (Exotosis) which is permanent unless you have an extremely painful and unpleasant surgery to literally drill your ear canal out. Here's the improvements on the originals:-

Leash: A silicone leash is attached to the plugs so you don't lose them in the water. (Optional, easily removeable)

Improved Acoustics: Enlarged sound canal area means better hearing

Better Fit: New shape for a more secure fit.  (My SurfEar 1.0 fit perfectly, interested to try these)

Hydrophobic Coating: Improved hydrophobic coating on mesh

Improved Water Seal: The ear bud now fits a wider range of users because of a number of reasons:-

• The small fitting is now even smaller and the large fitting is larger, suiting a much wider size range of ears.
  The fitting is shorter, allowing a better fit for surfers with ear canal closure already.
  The outer ring is enlarged for a better seal
